It wasn't a terrible show. It may have been the best of Todd Kauffman's Canadian cartoons, but that's not saying much. Nobody liked Looped or Sidekick. Total Drama was niche as hell.

Canada has a lot to answer for

I wish I could draw like Avalon. He does good on-model stuff, but everything kind of has a nice fluid feel.

Although his writing skills kind of suck as all the characters act the same no matter which show they're from
