Silver Surfer #11 Storytime

Has this series been any good? First issue I remember it being a painfully obvious Doctor Who rip off but I heard it also won an Eisner at one point?

I find it really good, Mike Allred's drawings work so well for the Surfer, and the ideas are pretty original. Besides, Dawn Greenwood is probably the best female Marvel character right now.

Slott talked about the book on Word Balloon last week. Alfred recently talked to him about how it's the longest he's ever worked with a single creative team, seeing how Madcap had guest artists.

I like the book for what it is. I dropped it post SW, and have meant to catch back up.
