Would Power Girl work as a Marvel character?
>>92272475
Yeah, I can see it happening. She's funny and lighthearted, but with an incredibly convoluted and bullshit origin story, which she shares with a lot of Marvel characters.
D.C. characters can have depth, but their origins are usually one dimensional.
>>92272555
if you had to reboot her origin for Marvel, how would you do it?
>>92272475
Sure, she's sufficiently distant from the rest of the Superman Family that she can work as a standalone character.
But do you really want Marvel writers shoving hamfisted SJW garbage in Power Girl's mouth?
>>92272475
Yeah, she's hostile and antagonisitic enough to fit right in with other Marvel heroes.

powergirl X spiderman
nuff said

So basically old Carol with She-Hulks personality?
She'd be everything they wish Carol was.

Last survivor of a dying planet.
No cause Marvel could never write female characters.
>>92272475
She would be an ethnic and gender minority and wouldn't have her giant boobs.
>>92273268
Giant boobs AND giant cock.
>>92273367
why does she have so many giant birds?
>>92272606
THIS
Powergirl is not for SJWarvel.
>>92272475
I'd rather have She-Hulk as a DC character
>>92272555
>D.C. characters can have depth, but their origins are usually one dimensional.
Tell Hawkman that.
>>92272475
Everything good about Power Girl was already done by John Byrne with She-Hulk twenty years earlier.

Yeah, it's only the headliners that tend to have fairly clear-cut origins, but if you scratch more than even just surface deep you run into weird bullshit. I mean, even Dick Grayson, the first robin, Nightwing, has a lot of questions about his origin and past.
