Look into it somewhere else. There are forums on animation news sites for example. If they have any preparation classes you can take, then be sure to.

They're super anal about what should be in a person's sketchbook. And at the same time they punish people who are clearly filling theirs with what they think the committee members expect to see, so good fucking luck.

An art teacher of mine told me to put art in that demonstrated and understanding of the fundamentals. Try stuff that shows you understand color theory etc

Of course I'm not an art major/going into the field of art so take that with a grain of salt.

Here's an overview of what they expect you to send and be capable of.

Make sure you:

a. have good life studies. That means do a *lot* of life studies, and then only choose the best.

b. Have something creative in there. Seriously, just something that shows a type of drawing you enjoy, and make sure it's your best.

c. Go for quality over quantity. You do not want fifty okay drawings, you want 10-15 very good ones.

d. Make sure everything is NEAT and PRESENTABLE. Imagine your portfolio as going on an interview. Sloppiness is not acceptable.
