I thought it was good--my favorite of RT's animated work, and the best executed in my opinion.

Season 2 was cancelled?
I wasn't sure how to feel when I first heard there was going to be a season 2, because while I liked the show, I felt the finale wrapped it all up nicely enough that it didn't need to be continued.

I feel they went a little overboard with the swearing sometimes, but I liked most of the characters. Nikki was adorable, Neil was funny as the wimpy nerd that unexpectedly had the foulest mouth, and Gwen's life situation and prospects were both entertaining and depressingly relateable.

It's good for a RT show, the edginess felt forced though.
I set the bar low though because xray and vav was the worst shit i ever saw and i never even bothered watching rwby because it seemed like a mess even before monty died.
