I'd do an OC team (mission statement in spoiler below).

Leader: Ronin (tactical, hand-to-hand expert)

1) Facade (illusion powers, stealth)
2) Monopole (flight and magnetic powers)
3) Champion (genius level intellect, team tech expert)
4) Moonstone (different person, can turn into a jewel-like substance, making them invulnerable, tank)
5) Basilisk (can emit a deadly force from his eyes)
6) Ravage (super strong, can shapeshift his appendages into weapons)

Their mission: to save the world from those who wish to harm it.

And earn some redemption along the way. You see, they're actually Captain America, Loki, Magneto, Doctor Doom, Emma Frost, Cyclops and Carnage. All of them are hated and feared, and yet all of them want to be heroes. Sometimes the only way forward is to be someone else.

Yes, this is basically the same twist as OG Thunderbolts, which is why nobody would see it coming.

Um, they got to be controlable in one way or another, for example Juggernaut CAN be reasoned with most times, and there is not as much of a WildCard as say Ghost Rider, who I've been chirping up, lately, so, That look's like a good line up just replace Crossbones With Winter Soldier and Moonstone with anything.

Dr.Betty is the fill in fixer, except less martially capable, decent with a gun, conniving and but still has a penchant for working for every bad organization out there.

Hmm. I think Ghost and Punisher would make a good team because both are vigilants. Ghost could help Frank as Micro helped him. Hacking into the criminal networks and informing Castle where the criminals are.
Their focus may be different, the Punisher would focus more destroying the cartels and other street criminals while the Ghost would try to murder all executives of corporations like BCCI or the guys behind the LIBOR scandal.
They would make a great team-up.
