To be honest Lois and Peter do so much terrible shit it's hard not to hate them both.

I'm pretty sure I remember when I was younger the reason I stopped watching this show was after a bit where the whole family unironically tell's meg how much they fucking hate her and it's never resolved, they just fight and it's forgotten about. Like I can accept a character being a punching bag if it's funny and done in the right way but they were all being dead serious, no gags or cutaway's just pure hate which McFarlane tries to pass off as "comedy"

Remember that episode where Meg learns she is "supposed" to be abused to keep her family together? And of course holier than thou Brian telling her she's doing the "right" thing by letting that incredibly unhealthy dynamic exist right after. Holy shit that pissed me off so much.

A happy ending would be everyone baring Stewie, Brian, and maybe Chris (you can make the excuse he's young enough he only does it because it's been modeled by Peter/Lois) arrested.
