The first two are good, third was fine, and then the fourth looks okay, until you realize how uncomfortably straight and symmetrical it is.
This has nothing to do with not using cels anymore despite them being neat, you could make the first incarnation to a T with digital art.

In KMPlayer I can change the saturation as it plays, I did it to Mutiny on The Krusty and it looked better, down about 10%.

Like I've said before, they need ocean/sea ambiance in the background, make it slower and less dialouge heavy, but in the days of short attention spans that's never gonna happen, that and more motion bubbles if they aren't doing those.
