Let me save you all some time. I tried to repress my memory of this shit so the details may be off but the gist of it is this:

After the show Zuko and Mai got married because it was arranged. But Zuko loves Katara so they start fucking on the side for a while until Zuko leaves to run his country. Katara writes Zuko but Mai sees the letters, learns about the affair, but rather than confront Zuko about it she hides the letters. Through one of the letters she learns her husband got Katara pregnant and so sends Katara an orange that would end up aborting the pregnancy because abortions definitely work that way. Katara slips into a depression from losing contact with Zuko and the baby and Zuko gets depressed from losing contact with Katara until he finds the letters and confronts Mai. Mai tells Zuko that he's the Fire Lord and his country just got out of a century long war that it lost, it doesn't have time for a scandal like this. But Zuko basically says fuck Mai and the Fire Nation and runs off to see Katara. Meanwhile Sokka finds Azula half dead in an alleyway. And rather than laughing and continuing on his business he takes her in. She has amnesia because of course she does and so they try to rehabilitate her. And then they fall in love because I guess Suki killed herself to escape this plot. Toph wants to fuck Aang because fy no nvxhj cfgb. Zuko teleports everyone to the castle from Beauty and Beast for a huge ass party. And then it's like 200 pages of complaining, crying, and fucking. Mai calls her brother that doesn't exist to kill Katara. And then promptly goes to try and kill Katara herself. They escape and everyone decides Mai and her notBrother needs to be stopped. Katara fights Mai. Sokka fights Mai's notBrother. So anyway the whole thing ends with Azula getting Mai's knife to her chest and Katara killing Mai. With blood bending. In the middle of the afternoon. So Azula ends up in the spirit world and everyone mourns her and the end.

Aang and Sokka go into the spirit world to look for Azula - while Katara is performing water healing on her the entire time. During this time Katara discovers that Azula is pregnant with Sokkas child. Meanwhile Azula is chatting it up with some spirit world fairy bullshit - and there's some giant spirit world battle that is ends with Aang and Sokka victorious and Azula has some magical spirit energy awakened in her which causes a full recovery of the knife wound. And also her hair is white now for some reason. Then there's a 10 years later epilogue. Zuko and Katara had two perfect fanfiction children - waterbending son, firebending daughter. Aang and Toph also have the same with bending genders reversed. Sokka and Azula child is born with white hair and her name is 'Miracle.' The children happily frolick together and that's the end.

Also at some point Zuko and Azula meet their mom, who is still sane and still dresses like the fire lady
