It is more like a comic that borrows gaming elements for the world but does its own thing in regards to original elements and characters.

All the main stories are relatively short ( about the length of a regular floppy ) and play out like an episodic cartoon more or less, with a conflict and a resolution and all that.

There's some overall continuity, but the first chapter should give you a good idea of weather you'd like it or not.
