Does it matter?

Assuming theorising has as much of a place here as smut and shitposting: I put together a list of gem classes and what we know about them so far. Anything I've got wrong or missed out?

Nephrites (presumably including Jade and Maw Sit Sit (aka Centipeedle)): Normal humanoid shape and build, pilots. The only one we've seen so far has one eye.

Quartzes (including Rose Quartzes, Amethysts, Jaspers and Carnelians, plus possibly Adventurine(?), Vermarine(?), Citrine(?), Tiger's Eye(?)): Big, bulky warriors. Shock troops and guards. The only ones we've seen come from Earth. No particular pattern to weapons, but Amethyst 8XN's whips and Rose Quartz's shield are both mentioned as unusual. Other than Rose Quartz, types of Quartz seem to follow a common pattern of form and ability and vary only in colour.

Peridots: Engineers. Era 2 Peridots are small, skinny and use limb enhancers to compensate for lack of powers. We've never seen an Era 1 Peridot but we can speculate that they should look like Era 2s with the limb enhancers on. Pretty tough overall and don't poof easily.

Glasses (including Obsidians): Unknown appearance and purpose; only mentioned as former member of the Crystal Gems.

Corundums (Sapphires and Rubies): Small, stocky gems. Sapphires are clairvoyant and highly prized; Rubies are expendable troops (and mostly not very bright). Rubies have (unconscious) fire abilities and a fist weapon; Sapphires have (unconscious) cold abilities and an unrevealed weapon.

Beryls (Emeralds, Aquamarines, Heliodor(?), Goshenite(?), Morganite(?)): Tiny flying administrators. Only one Aquamarine has been seen so far and has a perfect memory plus an item allowing her to freeze/manipulate objects. Peridot had a similar (though weaker) ability through her limb enhancers so it's possible this Aquamarine is Era 2.

Only seen as heterofusions so far: Opals, Garnets, Chrysoberyls (Alexandrite), Malachites, Onyxes (Sardonyx)

Only seen as corruptions so far: Tourmaline, Desert Glass,
