The issue with trying that is so much of the charm comes from the roughness of it. As someone who wants to do legit comic stuff, gob (no offense bruh) makes a lot of amateur mistakes, but many of them it's hard to tell if it was intentional or not, so it creates this illusion of mastercraft incompetency that oozes out of every comic. And that sincerity is why IH captured as many readers as it did, I think. They stick around for the genuine-ness and stay for the actually great writing.
