Not saying I know the whole structure, the majority of the scenes are present day. The FBI/CIA are much more involved. It's like a "The Fugitive" situation more than Sad Frank flashbacks, interspersed with Frank ripping apart gangs trying to fill the void since Fisk is still in the pokey.
