The episodes were pretty good, and I love Aquamarine's design. But I just can't get behind Topaz's look. Too unnaturally barrel-shaped, and the legs stick out underneath awkwardly.

Aquamarine is a decent design in motion, Cirno ripoff aside. Her voice is great and helps sell it.

Topaz however is just ugly as sin and the design is uninspired and shitty. Hopefully she's just going to be dumb muscle with little screentime and not a real character like Jasper.

I've enjoyed, it's fantasy WW1 with magic brigades. The blonde is the sadist leader and she has a good hearted sidekick.

The only weird part is the sub plot. The blonde girl is the reincarnation of a atheist Japanese salaryman put in a new world as a orphan girl so he can learn humility. So many scenes are motivated by Tanya wanting to succeed in life to defy God.
