I liked the Jersey Devil. They kept the original backstory of the monster instead of making it more "kid friendly".
The Vodnik, The Mart and Fernir were pretty good too.
I also liked la Nahuala and la Llorona from the movies. They were pretty well adapted.
Among the worst adapted the "mummies" of Guanajuato and the chupacabra are my picks.

Movie!Teo has the best outfit but Nu!Teo has the best personality.

I'm not talking about waifu stuff I just think Nu!Teo is a vast improvement over her other incarnation from a writing perspective. While she's still self-absorbed and a stereotypical "fresa", she's not grating and I feel she contributes a lot more to the team.

I honestly like them both a lot, they're not really THAT different after all, and having the same Spanish VA definitely helps keep the continuity between old and new.

While I totally concede that Netflixdora is the more developed and better written character, Moviedora's somewhat more histrionic and extreme emotions combined with her design (I'm a sucker for older looking, more rounded character designs, it's the same reason I prefer a lot of 80s anime to modern stuff) makes her the one for me. Sad as it might sound seeing Moviedora's smiling face just brightens my day. I don't really waifu, or at least I didn't, but she's definitely jostling for that position.

It will be interesting to see what Teo is like in the next movie, whether she takes on a bit more of Netflix Teo's character or stays the same as the last movie. That said, she has grown a lot even in the movies, she was utterly one-dimensional in Nahuala. This does lead me to wonder why they decided to bring her back as a main character from the second movie onwards when really, Xochitl seemed like the obvious choice. Audience reaction maybe? I can see Teo playing better with the kids as comic relief.

In the first movie, she's Teodora's maid. After a spoopy witch killed her and Teodora, Xochitl's ghost was trapped in a spoopy manor. She served as a guide to help Leo find the witch so he could kill her and free the ghosts that the witch had enslaved.

She's mentioned in the 2nd movie, but doesn't appear, and in the 3rd movie, she has magic powers. Has a brief cameo in the 4th movie. I hope she shows up in the 5th.

You're definitely on your way, the more you practice the better you get and you're obviously drawing a lot.

I don't really know if I'm in a position to be giving advice, but from what I've seen you might benefit from not drawing quite so harshly. Your sketches are nice, but they'd make better under-sketches that you could go over with smoother line art so they don't look so "scratchy". That also gives you the opportunity to clean up anything that looks wonky.

You can get some reasonably priced smaller Wacoms that are still pretty good (honestly for the area of my medium Intuos I actually find myself using it might as well be half the size) just stay away from the cheap brands, they're cheap for a reason.
