This is because Ike got kicked out from the MCU and his pet project scrapped entirely by them. Also they're co-producing Legion, so it seems the X-Men are good to go again and if rumours become true the Fantasic Four might be coming back in Marvel's shitty Rebirth knock-off.
After pushing the Inhumans and burying the X-Men so much all this time they had to at least try to salvage their end game. Initial reactions aren't very promising though.
