Pickles and Skwisgaar have their moments and some quirks that were played with and made them endearing and entertaining. It's kind of sad that Nathan never became anything more than an edgy teenager who never grew up. I mean, I guess it's kind of meta-funny that he was like the straight man of the group of weirdos, despite his edgy one liners.

Also I was surprised how adorable I ended up finding Pickles.

But yeah, Toki and Murderface are definitely the best.

I liked that he became a father figure to the others (barring Pickles) by virtue of being one of the only moderately well adjusted one. Also: "Which hand to you fret with?"

The best part about murderface is that the serie makes it look like a loser because he's untalented, lazy and he suck at talking to women.

But you see in the first season that almost the entire world loves him (the majority hiper violent maniacs like him) they burn the Louvre for him.

And the groups who reject him are always women or media guys, so that's the group of people we see it interact everytime in he other seasons to make the point that he's a loser.

That's how you write a loser who is technically love for millions.

I love Nathan's little old lady reading glasses. And him being bad at algebra.

Nathan's actually pretty mature all things considered. Yeah, he's still edgy but it's fucking Dethklok, it's to be expected. Every time the band has to do something without Charles to help them, Nathan steps up and leads them typically semi-competently and is probably the only one besides Pickles to remember that they need money to eat and live. He's still a moron for deleting entire albums over one song being off, though.

When you look at it from the absurd perfectionist's angle, it makes a bit of sense that is one part of the album just doesn't work, adding something new would feel just as jarring, and simply getting rid of the one song would leave the album incomplete. They're all broken, in their own ways. Nathan is the best adjusted and he thinks that he's an idiot who is terrible at everything outside of music. Pickles is a self-destructive drug addict, Nathan watched his father use a chain-saw to kill his mother in a murder suicide, Skwisgaar was horribly traumatized as a child due to his mother's infidelity (being directly exposed to sex as a child can really fuck you up, pun not intended), and Toki, my god, Toki should not be alive after what his parents did to him.
