Sometimes when a model is done they don't craft it with clothes or other things on it. The clothes are a separate layer. Usually this isn't done since they'd have to render all the layers all the time so they just keep the visible parts hands head and feet etc. Like with most games.

its why when some scenes come into games they cut away before the characters get busy. They have to switch models

Some that animated with Source Film Maker and such programs. Have gotten really good with using layers and makes the animations look way more natural and fluid.

But Shrek was falling in love with her when she was a human the whole time. He only saw her ogress form at the last minute, so why would that form be the object of true love. I get he'd be more attracted to an ogress, but again he fell in love with her as a human.
