It wasn't that bad of a movie, not as good as the first. It was serviceable enough, though with the entire galaxy open to them it felt far more contained than the original. The plot was pretty predictable and nobody will be surprised how completely overdone baby Groot is for commercial purposes.

Still it's not trying to be anything more than something fun, and it delivers that well enough. For all it's faults it doesn't have as near as bad a slip as Avengers to Age of Ultron.

I actually found Baby Groot to be nowhere near as overdone as I assumed he would be. Still overused, but I thought it would be fucking constant with him and for the most part it wasn't.

Also Ego is by far the most easily hateable of all the MCU villains. He might not be the best of them, or even a particularly good villain, but good lord is he a cunt.
