I like how, first with Merlyn and now with Chase, this show consistently hires actors to play crazy people who pull off deranged without cackling glee. Like, you can tell just by looking at them that they don't live on planet Earth like the rest of us.

Dude, your wife is in control of what is essentially the DCU's Men in Black. She isn't a single vigilante or even a team of them. She's the head of the blackest of black op groups in the United States government. What they do is an order of magnitude larger than what Oliver has done on his worst day.

The writers really shit the bed when they had his wife slowly become Waller. I mean, the shit that woman does isn't magically less fucking horrific just because it's carried out by someone else. They wrote themselves into a corner, and the only way they could think of to get out of it was to have Diggle act like an idiot. Fantastic job guys, just...fantastic.
