>he buys comics instead of just reading them for free
Comics are so goddamn expensive, maybe I'm a poorfag but having a physical copy is not worth the cash

>he reads
What's the matter wagecuck? Too beta to get your mom to read for you?
Maybe they just enjoy supporting an industry that hates their existence and actively attempts to screw them every chance possible
Some people like the tactile feel of paper-in-hand.
Personally, I download back-ups for convenience and sampling then buy stuff I actively want to support.
I prefer actually reading trades, but that doesn't support an ongoing.

>I prefer actually reading trades, but that doesn't support an ongoing.
It's so frustrating, especially when a comic is clearly paced to read well as a trade and will clearly get cancelled as floppy buyers aren't going to support it.
From an outsider perspective, the comic industry is seriously fucking weird. It's like the only industry where 99% of consumers buy things not because they want to but because they're guilt-tripped into doing it.

Comics are cheaper than most shit. Also criminal behavior to pirate.
Another thing is that anyone who steals comics aren't fans.

I only have enough GBP for tendies or storytime, not both, and a growing boy's gotta eat

>anyone who steals comics aren't fans
How come no one says this about movies?
>>92067078
I read them free here then buy them if I like them or want to support the run regardless. I've bought every issue of Gwenpool even though I thought it was hit or miss.

I live in Canada. Shit's expensive

You seem like a very altruistic person. i applaud you for supporting the industry

>he buys comics because he fears his favorite character will get killed off if there aren't any sales

>steals comics
downloading a copy is not stealing, the original is still there, is like I going to a comic shop and read the issue for free (which I used to do, too)
>>92068904
Usually I would agree but pirating comics hurts the industry arguably more than any other

Marvelfag leave
