From the future Brotherhood's perspective, YES.
Look at who they are and what their lives are:
Two bastard children of Mystique, who's association with the X-Men has always been conflicted ... and more than a little crazy.
One of those half-brothers is Xavier's kid, so this is about a bunch of daddy issues and really hating Summers.
And he's not the only one to hate Summers, not by half, poor future ... past ... Jeanie is suffering from out-of-control psi-powers (having never lost half of them because of The Phoenix, like OGJean did) and she's fallen under the sway of Evil Xavier Jr. too. Of course she's mad at Cyke for all that. He's directly responsible for those things happening (or not happening) to her.
And an even more messed-up crazy-pants Beast who's current present-day iteration is already a ruined man ... uh ... Beast ... because of his X-Men involvement just up until now.
All of these problems wouldn't have existed if Logan and Scott weren't fighting when AvX started and so Scott went Phoenix instead of Hope, Xavier was murdered, Hank broke time, and Jean was taken to a future where she was told she would die if she returned to the past.

For these four characters the X-Men have been a horrible curse upon their lives.
