>The sword was willed into, and out of, existence. It fell off the cliff and back into possession of the Gods'.
>You'd be hard pressed to cram all the tactics and stratagem involved in soloing an army into one half hour, even if that was all that happened in the episode. We'll have to settle for some awesome metaphoric action scenes. Boo hoo.
>We don't see every minute of Jack and Ashi's travel, a lot of healing and development can occur off screen or between episodes.
>Mad Jack was a weak homonculus/interpreted image, Seppuku Jack was 100% real inner demon.
All this symbolism and contrast. Will we get to see the Guardian say Jack's ready?

Easy solution: Don't make her fight an entire army? Make the whole Ashi side of the episode be about fighting her mother.

That would have just been a massively drawn out fight though. Samurai Jack doesn't do long fights, having an extended brawl would have betrayed the degree of lethality that had been established

>all of the awesome

This apologism is just embarrassing.
I see what you mean, but hasn't she been fighting her a few episodes now? I think the arrow represented her being done with the mother. I wouldn't be surprised if she comes back though.

Symbolism/contrast man.

Would you have been ok with it if she did it?
Should she have made a sandwich? Folded some clothes while the army attacked? I think it was badass that she watched his back.

She should've started with a weapon. Or else revealed blatant powers.
How do we know the events of these episodes aren't what makes him ready? End justifying the means, to means justifying the end?

I think defeating the army highlighted her already revealed and blatant powers. Aku churns out killers, she's not some random jobber from a hole in the wall village with no training.
Did these guys survive?
Is he the great grandson?

So that's why she has a monkey face.
