I AM him and I agree that cartoons ABOUT capes could be discussed here and there because they're valid versions of comics characters.
It's more that between the folks who come to /co/ for the various Saturday-morning style children's cartoons and comics in general I find there is relatively little overlap in addition to the pacing of posts being MUCH faster (albeit over completely silly shit), which actually pushes out discussion of comics.
A board being slower is not in fact a BAD thing, it just means people aren't say...making 20 Samurai Jack threads a day all taking about the exact same topics over and over for example.

In addition, there is considerable animosity between the cartoon-favoring folks and the comics-reading folks, which largely only exists because we're sharing an apartment right now.
Back when /mlp/ was 90% of this board a similar problem happened, and giving them their own solved it for everyone.

Let's be fair; "all" is mostly "the majority", and I will fully admit that the vast majority on here are cartoon-watchers, not comics-readers. Comics are far, FAR more niche, and anyone with any actual life experience trying to observe it can confirm that fairly easily.

That doesn't mean it's a good idea to shove them in with cartoons.

It's like the whole deal with Superman and Lois. Superman should take care when holding her and stuffs, but the actual fucking? That's just him flexing his pelvis. It used to be very common before the 00s and 90s.
However "event style" comics have taken over and sales are shit, and as a result there are less and less solo titles that have their own side characters. Everything has to be big and bombastic so there's less feel good comics, and sales are in the shitter so they have to put other heroes in the book so it might sell more. That and a bunch of c listers and below are just on team books so they hook up with each other
And barely anything sticks nowadays unless an editor wants it to, so writers throw out what the previous writer did, including relationships

Yup, issue 6 showed how Jason first met Kory, but that issue didn't do anything to contradict the first issues. It showed Kory living alone in a secluded island where her spaceship was shipwrecked and when she rescued Jason from drowning she felt a connection to him because he reminded herself so much of someone who used to be important to her, but she just couldn't remember well. That person, of course, turned out to be Nightwing. She even had several of his old suits that she used to cuddle and sniff to try and better remember him.

So she started to follow Jason around dispensing lethal justice because she had nowhere to be and nothing else to do, as well the main factor of him reminding her of Nightwing, which she couldn't remember well for some reason.

So yeah, Roy was a fucking asshole for not questioning why she was with Jason, what was the issue with her memories or anything really about her situation because he was afraid to rock the boat and lose the chance of keep nutting inside her. Jason was also a bit asshole-y for using her as a weapon and bragging about having her all to himself to Roy, but at least Jason was man enough to put plainly that he didn't really needed her or Roy. They that kept following him like lost puppies. Not that he didn't liked their company.
