That's actually a huge plot hole in Justice League: Kingdom Come

The Flash in that timeline is basically STUCK on super speed mode after having done it for so long. It's so intense he can literally see ghosts by vibrating within various dimensions at the same time.

The culmination of the story is a nuclear bomb that, for someone like him, would've taken 10 years to explode. Seriously the entire story, all of it, is something the Flash would've watched happen over a period of decades or centuries or god knows how long to him.

Every death was his decision not to save. Every action was a result of his choosing not to act. All of it.
And it's just so...alien to see and think about.

there was a time where Marvel and DC actually had more of a friendly rivalry, and occasionally did crossover events, or in the one case, an entire amalgam universe where they fused Marvel characters into DC characters. (EG Batman + Wolverine)

Capcom tried to get them to agree on one back in the 90's, but they were both autistic and didn't want a game where beating their company's characters with the other's was possible. It's a shame too, since DC lends itself better to the fast-paced combat style of JoJo or Darkstalkers than the sluggishness of MK, at least IMO.
