Maybe he meant that the Season 5 DVD (and hopefully Blu-ray) of Samurai Jack will come out this Fall.
And maybe they will also remaster seasons 1 - 4 and re-release it on DVD and Blu-ray.
Or they will only take the old versions on iTunes and re-release them yet again on DVD.

Was Samurai Jack digital or was it done on cels?
Because all I get is contradictory information.
If it was digital, then maybe we should just do a well-upscaled Blu-ray or a DVD re-release of the entire series plus a Blu-ray of Season 5.

If it was made on cels and film, it can be restored in 1080p and maybe even 4K.

Also, South Park was actually 3D CGI that replicated the look of cardboard cut-outs so it's easier to re-render than something that was actually hand-drawn and then colored digitally.

Those shows have to be upscaled but the studio and even fans can do a great upscale like that A:TLA upscale from Reddit.
