Apparently the two movies he worked on made Sony a huge pile of cash and now Hotel Transylvania is their biggest franchise. Freaky, right?

What's more amazing is that the first film was in development hell for a long time and went through like five or six directors, each of them trying to salvage the flaming bag of shit that was this movie. They brought on Genndy, and he did it on time and under budget. Nothing short of a miracle.
