I love the first team with Martinex and Charlie 27, Nikki was top waifu for a long time before I ever understood the term. Talon's character arc was, at the time, super close to me. Gunn said that GotG vol. 3 is going to be the last adventure of the current GotG as a group (whatever that means) and that he plans to continue with the original Guardian group. With Cosmic Marvel expanding I hope this means Gamora and Drax go to an Infinity Watch sort of group with Adam. Star-Lord probably runs around solo and maybe even appears in Nova to get Rich into trouble.

Possibly at some point both of them ending up in an Annihilation type of movie.

I was thinking the same. With Adam finally being introduced in Guardians 3 I can see them doing Pip the Troll too and move them to their own group guarding the Infinity Stones or something.

I think Star-Lord should still lead what's left of the Guardians (Rocket, Groot, Mantis) plus some additions (Cosmo, Jack Flagg, Beta Ray Bill, Phyla, Moondragon). I would like to see him in a Tony Stark-esque role/relationship with Rich.
