Really don't want to nitpick but I feel they're glossing over some characterization.
Clark has told Bruce before that while he's not a detective, i.e. he does not speculate things he does not have the clues and evidence for less so because of any mental limit and more because psychologically he does not like to be paranoid and suspect people of things on a whim, he has still been an investigative journalist. He can put the puzzle pieces together.
Also while Hal's crime solving is touch and go and his conduct very unprofessional he's still a GL, and they're more or less space cops.

I get that Bruce and Barry would have an eye to eye when it comes to Forensics since that's a specific field of investigation, but I don't buy that Clark and Hal's eyes would glaze over entirely. Cyborg's also does the analysis thing so there's another name in the hat to draw.

Bridging a unique bond between two characters is one thing, but bleaching the characters of others to artificially highlight it is poor form.

Dude, not only is forensics probably the most important part of detective work, but it's probably what Bruce and Barry spend most of their time doing. Even when you're using the speed force, it's still a long, arduous process and one where you're going to need to cooperate with other officers a lot of the time.
