I dunno, The Simpsons has been losing ground to Batman Beyond, meanwhile AtLA has been strengthening it's edge over Ed, Edd, n Eddy, which was one of the biggest bets for winning. Rick and Morty and Futurama both have decent pull too, enough to give The Simpsons a run for their money.

I'd probably put it to AtLA vs Batman TAS.

Samurai Jack is definitely winning it's block, I'm really unsure on top right though. OtGW's been gaining momentum very steadily against KotH, and I think either could potentially take it to spongebob. They don't have nearly as much bad weighing them down.

Still, my predictions are Samurai Jack and AtLA for final two, Jack taking it.

Transformers generally isn't that popular on /co/, and it's best bet is to be grouped into one show. Dividing it up would only weaken the individual shows. People who like beast wars don't necesarily like say Prime, or TAS, or the original series, and wouldn't vote for them, but under the blanket label of "Transformers" people who like any of those shows might vote for it.

Ben 10 has had some degree of continuity throughout the shows, but even if it was just assumed to be the first show, it would do about as well. Omniverse is the only series that is up there with the original in terms of popularity, and I'd say they're roughly equal.

With Scooby-Doo, there's far more series over a greater span of time like transformers, and dividing it up potentially hurt it. With that being said, What's New is an odd choice, it's one of the less popular series. A Pup Named is more popular on /co/. In either case Mystery Inc was the best bet for a Scooby Doo who getting far, and it was unfortunate enough to be paired with Boondocks in it's first bracket.

Simpsons and Spongebob in their golden age are two of the funniest, most well written shows of all times, they're cultural juggernauts. South Park is also hugely iconic, and hasn't gone down hill nearly as bad as the other two, but was never on their level at it's peak.

FOP started out average, on a level comparable to Jimmy Neutron, which only gets talked about because it's weird, early cg aesthetic and tone led to a lot of memes, a sort of Shrek phenomonon on a smaller scale. This isn't true. Something like Avatar is hard to get made, but not nearly as hard to make. AtLA has some really impressive writing and direction, on a very sophisticated and ambitious level, but this is more impressive in that the stuio allowed something like it to get made. More animated shows aren't like that because it's hard to do, but because studio don't have faith in them, fearing they'll alienate viewers.

Ed, Edd, n Eddy on the other hand is an easy pitch, and a lot of other shows like it exist. But Ed, Edd, n Eddy is separated by a level of craftsmanship that's very hard to replicate. A talent for cartoonsmanship, character design, style, just the sheer amount of creativity that went into the sound design and visual gags on that show is mindblowing.

Slapstick gets a bit of reputation for being a cheap laugh, but any comedian will tell you this is far from the truth. It's really hard to make slapstick work, bad slapstick can be painfully unfunny. Ed, Edd, n Eddy nails it though, it knocks it out of the park.

There are loads of animation and film school students who would die to make a show like AtLA, and probably could if given the opportunity and resources. There are far fewer people who could deliver a product like Ed, Edd, n Eddy, and not as many who want to.

Those shows have literally been bad for twice as long as they've been good.

Dexter's Lab had Justice Friends, Dexter's mom, several timeless episodes (Koose, the space racer parody, Willy Wonka/Stephen Hawking parody, the movie). Even the Savino seasons were nowhere near as outright putrid as nuSpongebob or nuSimpsons.

I enjoy both and they both can be great if done right. That's why I'm still pissed that The Angry Beavers got beaten by Bob's Burgers. It only lost because people didn't know about it. Bob's Burgers is stale humor that only exists to sell Tina on shirts and pins in Hot Topic because they find her shitty jokes funny or relatable.

Or at least try and pair up episodic and non epizodic cartoons together in the start. I refuse to vote because I haven't watched many of the shows, but I have seen the ones that are left in this round, and I refuse again because EEnE and ATLA are apples and oranges, and that's just one example.

How the fuck did Foster's get so far in the first place? Beyond the movie and pilot, Foster's really wasn't even good, it was fairly mediocre most of the time, even edging on bad with a handful of episodes.
