Anyone else a little disappointed at set bonuses?

The gear system is the thing that has me most excited about this game but the fact that set bonuses exist almost guarantees there's going to be optimal builds rather than just making cool looking combinations. Really kills the whole system for me when you know everyone you fight will be using the same looking cheese set.

As a former Sinestro main I must disagree. There's infinite potential in constructs, and even beyond the rings Guy and Saint Walker represent fighting styles not really present in the game yet, Guy being more of a barfight brawler type and Saint Walker having an elegant Xiaolin monk flavor as shown in GLTAS.

Also I know Mogo is dead in Injustice but I'd love for him to show up for Saint Walker's super to do the giant blue ring boosted death beam.

Can't say I agree with that. There's a substantial number of people in this game whose powerset boils down to "very strong" but who use it in different ways. A power ring is effectively just a very condensed utility belt.

People complain, but people are always going to complain. That's just how it is with NRS games. The whining will outlive the game itself, if Gods Among Us and MKX are to serve as any model.

How come DC heroes are so shitty and boring compared to marvel ones? All the DC heroes' superpowers(superman, Wonder Woman, the flash, Green Lantern, etc) boil down to "I CAN DO EVERYTHING IM SUPER INVINCIBLE LOL". I think Rorschach would actually be a cool choice because he's just a normal fighter. His lack of powers, guns and high-tech weapons/gadgets actually makes him unique here since nobody else on the roster is just a normal guy fighting with his fists and whatever makeshift weapon he can find. They put way more into their games than nearly any other fighter out there I can at least give them credit for that. And that's even ignoring the story mode. There's tons of love and fanservice whenever they make a fighter. SFV is the biggest fighting game franchise and it's embarrassingly bad in nearly every aspect (And this is coming from a SF diehard).
