Those three first episodes feel like its own movie; they're perfect as they are. Sure, little nitpicks here and there, but they are still amazing and one of the best bits of animation ever (coming from my admittedly little experience).

Daughters were not Jack's child. Jack isn't the type to randomly hook up with bitches. He is the loyal marry a girl forever type. He hasn't shown any indication of having been married in the last 50 years.

Ashi isn't Aku. That storyline was already played out. Too obvious.

That leaves the Daughters being the actual daughters of Aku. Note that we have no real backstory on the cult or Ashi's father. That seems a little strange right? My guess is that the cult gained some shards of Aku somehow, and used that to create children.

What this means is that she can be possibly controlled, or may die if Aku dies.

I think Jack won't be able to kill Ashi if his trip to the past depends on it. It's kind of the theme of the show, that he doesn't have the heart to sacrifice another just for him gaining the time travel. If one of them will die, it will definitely be Jack.

At the same time, in the final episode synopsis Ashi is not mentioned. That might mean she is dead or incapacitated/out of the fight, at least at the start. I don't believe Jack can 1v1 Aku, it's like a motif within the first 4 seasons that because he always tries to do everything alone, he fails.

Doesn't look like we will get a Jack vs pic related fight, that's sad.

Is he going to go back to the past and just live forever? I really could see Genndy setting up a theme of its best to keep being optismistic or looking foward or some light at the end of the tunnel bullshit.
