Don't start watching it unless you're ready for grade B mediocrity and a couple of really low Grade A stories crammed into 11 minutes.

It's garbage. The character designs are the least of its problems since it is discarded all the time for MUH STORYBOARDERS making the main character and others look like even more of an autistic child. Take note this is a 14 year old young man.

Basically, yes. The art style has turned half the cast into gremlins for some reason. Steven is roughly half the size he was when the show started. He only comes up to about Pearls knee now.

I have no fucking idea why. Its baffling.

I hear its because the storyboarders dont use any reference charts for height and proportions and just go with whatever they feel like.
It just seems so unprofessional and amateurish.
