This is all "novice" Eobard, back when he was relying on the Flash-charged suit and didn't have the speedster powers of his own.

Eobard first relied on 25th century tech to contrast him with Barry, who knew a lot of speed tricks. Eventually, Eobard surpassed Barry in speedster knowledge.

After Zoom reshaped his own backstory on New Earth, he's retroactively gained even more knowledge of the Speed Force by making so he'd become the professor of the Flash Museum, and with newfound knowledge mastered the "Negative Speed Force" and figured out how to ruin Barry's life before he even became the Flash.

tl;dr: Silver Age Eobard needed the Threadmill. Since Bronze Age, he did not. His younger self's appearance in Rogue War is an exception.

I think you're going a little overboard. The only stuff that's back is the stuff that fits. Meaning that those 5 gap years are more like 15 gap years to fit in the Super Sons and versions of JLI and JLA happened during that time (as seen by the above trophies). JL Origin will still be the first time they all teamed up, except this time Superman was weraing underwear.

What this means for Cyborg's age is to be seen. I suppose he's now the one whose timeline doesn't add up, instead of Batman/GL/Superman.
