I don't know shit about baseball what the fuck
OK seriously now, are these meant to be funny or what?
>>91803595
...as near as I can tell, it's an almost-joke.
Baseball used to have an infamous number of players who used chewing tobacco to the point that MLB was encouraged to crack down on it because it was deemed a bad influence on kids.
There's a gum brand called Big League Chew with a baseball theme that kind of vaguely resembles chewing tobacco as well. In the 80s or 90s it was controversial.
Presumably Gallagher just doesn't fucking understand anything and thinks that baseball players are famous for chewing bubblegum.

holy shit I think that's a real joke
it's not a very GOOD joke
but it's still a real joke. It has a subversion of actual expectations and not just a bizarre dadaist interpretive dance of an alleged cat who wears football helmets with words printed on them

Man, Heathcliff is always playing baseball
Of all the weird things on /co/, the strangest to me is the undying love for Heathcliff

I think they're pretty funny. Guess it's an acquired tast.
I don't like the gum saga.

Its not just love.
Its the only thing I look forward to.
This is my life.

This is so unfunny I can't even think of ways to make memes out of them.

That's actually pretty fucking funny

You lack conviction.
