Are modern comics worth buying physically?
Not really

Trades, yes. Floppies, no.
I'm not American, so I can't buy floppies anyway. Usually, I read online, and what I like I buy digitally to support the book.

>buy 30 pages of cheap print for 5 dollars
>10 pages are shitty food ads

trades and hardcovers sure
no point buying single issues anymore when digital is so available
I still buy floppies of some things, but generally trades are much better value and are easier to reread.
Wouldn't recommend digital unless you're ok with the idea that the store could pull them and you wouldn't have a way to read them years later.

If it's a good book and you don't want to see it cancelled then yes.
I just use readcomiconline and those types of sites, comics cost too much imo for individual issues. If you really like a series, just buy the graphic novel later

not that one, it's not

Considering most comics are rapidly becoming shit, no. No.
I personally prefer holding the thing in my hands
Like what Stan Lee said
>"A comic book is like a pair of boobs; It'll always be a joy online but it's better to hold them in your hand"
or some shit like that

But anon, don't you want to know about the special, exclusive offers?

Thanks for the floppy buyers. You're the weekly television viewers of the comics world.
Your sacrifice keeps business afloat until there's a good backlog to binge.

fuck DC for that shit. but buy Ferreyra books cause all his spreads force the adds to the last few pages
