It paid off the entire "Eddy's brother" gag from the show, gave each of the Eds an emotional arc that was resolved in the end, had lots of fun moments, and ended with the Eds finally being accepted by the other cul-de-sac kids. As far as (legitimate) series finales for animated shows go, it is one of the best.

Well, I'd argue it's a good as that show had gotten.

I will admit I am not a fan of the show, but the climax was actually decent.

I just liked that Eddy finally fessed up to all his bullshit. I just don't know why he was lauded as like some kind of hero in the end though. He was victimized and he confessed, but whatever. It was a decent end.

The cul-de-sac kids finally saw why Eddy always acted like such a jerk - his brother had been an even bigger jerk to him - and they saw Eddy stand up to his asshole brother. It wasn't the kids treating him as a hero, so much as it was the kids forgiving Eddy for all his bullshit after seeing why he did it.

I think they were asking for things that make it objectively good, not subjectively...so in other words "what makes it the best if I don't give a shit about EEnE" in which case a proper answer would involve talk of writing, artstyle, animation, humor, music, blah blah blah....not a rundown of why it's satisfying to people who were big fans of the show's characters, that means nothing to someone who doesn't like those characters or the show

Still it sounds like a bit of a dumb thing to say but I think that's what they were getting at, if someone who wasn't a fan of a show I was and asked me what was good about it or why it was "the best" if I claimed it was, I'd give answers more like that, reasons that I feel were a bit more black and white and easy to understand to a non fan than explaining why the story was good to me as a fan

Big boogey adventure is good, but the thing that annoyed me was the Fred Fredburger scenes.
