ITT: Characters who did EVERYTHING wrong.

I wanted to fuck this old lady.
>>91722737
She actually achieved a lot of things in her life.
>>91724922
>I wanted to fuck this old lady.
She was in her 40s. That's middle aged. 60+ is old.
>>91725070
Everyone tries to push the age number for "old" more the closer they get to it.
When you're 50 you'll be saying 70+ is "old" and 55 would be the new middle aged at worst.
Whatever, point is I wanted to make her husband a cuck and send her kids to bed early.

the thing I like here is that Lin Evans implies Suyin is Mike and that feels really on the nose with how shitty they both are.
>>91725428
Lin should have switched over to kuvira's side
>>91727786
Kuvira and Zaheer literally did nothing wrong.
>>91726965
im a the only one who thinks she looks like a man in the pic

He was flawed, intentionally and unintentionally. But holy Christ when he spear headed a full frontal assault against Reptar and they were all immediately vaporized, you could see the failure on his face.
How could they all just go with their leader when he's clearly mentally incompetent and tactically incompetent. For some reason after that happened they decided to keep him as a character and not just let him die with the rest, maybe they thought he wasn't worthy of dying with such a good group of characters.
All the rest of the show is is him trying to mend his wrongs but you can that while he's not physically dead, he's spiritually dead. There's nothing left in him, he's just a shell of an incompetent leader.
>>91722737
Bloo. The only time he did anything right was the first movie.
>>91725297
I don't get this meme
>>91722737
I'm gonna play devil's advocate here.

Suyin was essentially a libertarian. Her city-state was security-heavy, to be sure, but it was just authoritarian enough to keep out the civil disorder plaguing the Earth Kingdom while maintaining an otherwise free and culturally-encouraging society. It was Zaheer who messed with the world order, not Suyin; she didn't go looking for this mess.
So, you have this old-ass lady, whose entire life experience and legacy is built around personal freedom, while thinking that the monarchy is outdated, and then some other punk-ass world leaders come and say, "Hey, how about you compromise your entire belief system for the good of a political entity that you don't really believe in anyway?" I can't say for sure that she really thought through the consequences of her actions, but there's something to be said about integrity of spirit.
And then Kuvira, the true heir to Zaofu, goes ahead and sets up an even more authoritarian political entity than the Earth Kingdom, with militaristic ambitions matching TLAB Fire Nation's to boot, without any real chain of succession, all against everything you've taught her. Even the fucking true heir to the Earth Kingdom has the (admittedly, shoe-horned) wisdom to basically create a confederacy, which arguably would look more like the Holy Roman Empire than even the United States under the Articles of Confederation...but not Kuvira.
Suyin did nothing wrong. It was just a shitty situation that made it impossible for her to step in and say "Fuck everything I believe in, let's do what Kuvira wants to do anyway!"

But seriously, the United Republic is occupied territory.

>>91730689
>whose entire life experience and legacy is built around personal freedom
her personal freedom included stealing, piracy, disfiguring her sister and ruining her mother's carreer to avoid justice. Then somehow getting Lin to apologize to her.
She was also perfectly fine with watching the earth kingdom rip itself appart from inside her gated neighbourhood while having the power to help.
Kuvira was the only one who did anything to stabilize the earth kingdom while everyone else fiddled their thumbs waiting for the problem to go away.
>>91730689
Suyin did everything wrong by not taking direct action and ruling the Earth Kingdom long enough for the country to stabilize, then finding voluntarily relinquishing her power to a worth successor after a good run.
Kuriva wanted to run the Earth Kingdom because she put too much time and effort in trying to establish order in her country just to be casually tossed aside so that Raiko can install a spoiled monarch just so he could get easy access to some of EK's resources. If SuYin was really Liberatrian, then she would tell Raiko to fuck off and let EK decided how they want to live.
>>91725428
Tenzin did nothing wrong. If Lin just did her duty and had children with him, none of this would have happened. Tenzin, at that point in time, was the Last Airbender, literally the one of his race that can further the Air Nomads' existence and, most importantly, continue the Avatar Cycle. Lin didn't want children, Tenzin needed to continue the Air Nomad legacy. Lin was being selfish, and now she's alone.
