SU's shittiness has been a collective effort and pinning all the show's problems on one boarder because of how she wrote the dialogue for two waifubait side characters is just blatant wishful thinking

We also know there's an upcoming episode in the batch titled The New Lars, and suspect that Lars also disappears and/or is kidnapped. And a new character in the trailer is looking for "my dad," which it's now being theorized that they aren't actually looking for their father but think that there's somebody named "Maidad" that they need to find. Eh, hard to say. It's one of the very few cartoons out right now that I actively look forward to, but I also understand why so many people have gotten so bitter over it. There's definitely waifu potential in a lot of different characters for a lot of different reasons, and it's not as pure tumblrshit as some people make it out to be. I mean, it certainly appeals to tumblr, but at least the characters have legitimate flaws and complexities whether they're gay or not.
