From a history standpoint, it would be interesting to see how blacks were treated in Nazi Germany, which isn't explored much in fiction.

Charles coming into his powers in a shitty Jim Crow urban school instead of a rich household would also be an interesting situation. Having to rely on how his powers help his athletics to pay his way through his various degrees. Maybe forced to use them to gamble.

I recall someone posting an interesting idea about redoing Magneto as a survivor of some African genocide which was quiet interesting.

I actually thought about this the other week. I think if Fox wanted to reboot their X-franchise, they'd almost have to race-bend them if only because they've been recast as different white actors in the same continuity already.

Imagine Don Cheadle as Xavier, or Idris Elba as a Magneto who survived the Rwandan genocide. You know Elba could deliver the SHIT out of some Magneto speeches.
