Again, a patient would have to talk to doctors over that sort of thing. They'd probably be advised not to but there are legit reasons to remove a limb, such as poor circulation but with prosthetics getting better, I'm sure doctors will have more people wanting to go Deus Ex on their bodies.

It's not a good analogy to begin with. A better comparison would be plastic surgery. Nobody seems to be up in arms about somebody wanting their nose a different shape but it has all the risks of malpractice and complications as somebody wanting a sex change.

God, I love the art for this so much. I just wish the story was bit, y'know, punchier? Like this comic and Devil's Candy are both very competently written, but the plotting isn't super compelling and the characters kinda fall meh. The writing just isn't very memorable to me, which is a shame because I feel it's the one thing holding the comic back.

I wouldn't say so either. It was just noticeable to see this comic pop up a lot recently.

The thing about shilling is that the real deciding factor is if people actually like the thing or not. It can be made worse by injecting it too much or really overhyping it, of course, but sometimes talking positively about a thing at all get calls of shill if people are in a certain mindset about it. People want to spread good comic around, but it can be just as difficult in this age of complete global saturation as it was when it was hard to disseminate attention at all.
