Is Kuzco from an Aztec society?

it was always unrealistic that he had to get an A on absolutely everything to get back his crown, and he pulled it off

the question is the show either set in a modern day alternate south america with random ancient stuff or an ancient alternate south america with so many anachronisms its equivelant to modern day society

If Disney ever considers a live-action remake of the Emperor's New Groove, they shouldn't.
Instead, they should adapt Kingdom of Sun

I'd rather have nothing.
Part of what makes Emperor's New Groove was it's stellar animation, so that would be lost in a live action incarnation, and everything I've read about Kingdom of the Sun sounds bland as fuck outside of Snuff Out The Light.

>a live action remake of Emperor's New Groove
Unlikely.
Emperor's New Groove is sitting on a spot similar to Atlantis, Treasure Planet and Hunchback, which is: not popular enough to make a consistently profitable franchise out of and being less iconic to the masses, which makes it risky.
And considering how much Emperor's New Groove is completely dependant on it's animation and it's humor (two of the things that the live-action Disney movies don't do), it would lose everything unique about it and it would eventually be closer to Kingdom of Sun anyway.

Even Snuff Out The Light is a pretty bland song, and Yzma's motivation and character in it is really generic and unremarkable.
Was the TV show any good? I could never catch it when it was on
I personally found this show very comfy for some reason. I feel like rewatching it now.

I thought it was pretty funny when I was a kid. If you're a fan of the movie I'd recommend checking it out.
