Nowadays being cancelled is a great thing, unless you want to become Simpsons, Spongebob, South Park.

Plus the show had far too many blatant flaws and bad decisions which they stubbornly refused to fix throughout the seasons.
Why greenlight more seasons if they won't fix their garbage ideas and execution?

It was a show made to sell toys and the toys weren't selling well enough.

Kids had shit taste and didn't buy the toys. They also fucked themselves over a fair bit by constantly making literally who toys with no show characters in their final year. They also should have told the Cahills they were being cancelled before the Season 4 finale was written, or comissioned a farewell special, rather than just have it end unceremoniously like it did.
