NRS games are usually pretty easy to get in to, it's part of why they're popular among larger audiences. But the online for any fighting game is going to be filled with people who are better than you at it. The whole gear system might help mitigate that though if you don't play ranked matches. I'd say if you enjoyed the first one then get this. It's better than the first in pretty much every way and there's enough single player stuff to make getting it worthwhile even if you keep getting blown out online.

Dude it's a fighting game, you gotta suspend your disbelief a bit. Obviously comic Rorschach wouldn't be carrying around a bunch of cleavers and broken bottles in his coat but if they want to give him a moveset beyond just punches and grapples then they need to get a little creative. The improvised flamethrower is a famous scene with him and it's an obvious choice for a special move even if it's a bit silly.

At the very least Metal Gear debuted on the NES so it's not like Snake was unfitting as a guest character. Pretty much all of the guest characters had some sort of tie to Nintendo, even Sonic. Turns out Ivy's trailer didn't do justice to her playstyle. It's nice to see she has a diverse array of cool moves and isn't quite as boring as she seemed.

Also nice to see Catwoman kept the Scratches trait and the summon-Isis move is only a special.

Their gear also looks pretty cool. I'm happy to say the only characters I'm going to ignore now are Harley and Firestorm.

He really wasnt THAT douchey. The first time they meet, Batman has just killed someone. Superman views him as a criminal. Giving him a chance to just walk away from, what Superman saw as, the beginning of a life of crime is really him giving him the benefit of the doubt for his past as a hero.
