Why should they? 2D movies don't do as well as 3D animated movies and 2D movies are cheaper to make.

They did. Two years later they released Winnie the Pooh with practically no marketing behind it and on the same day as the last Harry Potter movie. It bombed so hard it didn't even make back it's measly (for Disney) $30million budget.

I think they're talking about how the animation was focused on more exaggerated poses and squash and stretch 2D techniques then the standard CG film. Even though that's not what >>91640126 is talking about.
