Perci doesn't have an attraction to Knuckles because he's brain-dead. She likes Tails because he knows how to use tools, and she likes Sonic to a certain extent but his ego gets in the way. But since SonAmy is actually a thing in Boom and Tails is dating Chloe, she's just sticking to defending the village from all threats non-Eggman.

Honestly? Not really.

If you are going into it expecting Sonic, especially the disappointment that Sonic is lately, then you will end up quite surprised. Eggman is great, the self-referral humor is amusing, and it is certainly not afraid to poke fun at itself and anything it can for the joke. The show is likely to get a chuckle out of you at least a couple of times.

On the other hand, if you are just looking for a silly cartoon full of humor, you'll probably end up disappointed. It's certainly not one of the best out there. And if you are looking for anything else, like fast action or some sort of plot, then it just isn't there.

Go ahead and check out an episode or two to see if you like it. Most of the series is the same as the rest, so it's either something you enjoy the gags for or could pass on entirely.
