Addendum: Just looked, take a look at the covers for Amazing Spider-Man #297, then like, the next 5-10 issues. Shit went from 80's "I draw X's between parallel lines" to organic looking web.

Even the art is sometimes completely off, filled with tons of glaringly obvious errors because apparently in between dictating major crossover storylines and forcing events and new characters for short-term popularity boosts they forget to actually do their fucking jobs.
