This pissed me off so much when I saw it.

Like dude, you literally promised a dying man one simple thing, and then immediately broke it because you thought you were so cool and edgy.

I'm glad the backlash to that scene caused them to trip over themselves trying to justify it in the sequel. And then, it added another stupid sub-plot to the movie, which killed the whole damn franchise. Like what the hell was Sony thinking? Peter was so unlikable in this movie
