How does /co/ feel about the Iron Giant today?

Criminally underrated. Should be on the same level as classics like ET.
I saw this shit in the theater when it came out. Have memories of seeing the Iron Giant hiding behind the movie screen before the film started.
Needless to say, I'm a fan.

Also that Doodle Doods episode was great, like every episode.

Also, it's a goddamned tragedy that the same people that did animation for this masterpiece went on to animate 8 Crazy Nights.

It's my favorite animated movie and one of my favorite movies period.
I saw the re-release in theaters and I felt like I was 7 years old again.
