>"I'm HUGE *insert /co/ property* fan!"
>"I'm a huge Batman fan"
>"I don't read Batman"
What is the appropriate way to denote your appreciation of a particular /co/ property?
>"I am like the BIGGEST Captain America fan despite never picking up a comic, only half paying attention to the movies my Chad boyfriend dragged me to see, and the only interest I have in the character is doing terrible slutty cosplays so geeks can drool over me thus triggering me to post on my tumble blog about how sexist the comic book community is!"

>I want to fuck *insert female(?) /co/ character*!

Batman comics are mostly garbage, you can be a Batman fan and experience the best the character has to offer with one television show and maybe three or four movies.
>Normie confidently "informs" you on comic shit with obvious inaccurate Wikipedia knowledge
>Hey, I'm suuuch a nerd! Did you know Superman is weak to any sorts of magic and Martian Manhunter is weak to fire?

>"Hey, I also I liked X!"

That's a good sign.

This is it

If you unironically claim to be a "huge" fan of something, odds are you barely qualify as a fan.
And don't start with those stupid tumblr arguments about what a "real fan" is because those are designed to make fake "lol so nerdy" sluts feel better about appropriating nerd culture for their own gain.
I'm a HUGE fan

I have this except he's not a Normie. He's as much of a loser as I am. But he's a fucking ignorant, makes no effort to learn shit but spouts off about it like he does. It is so fucking annoying.

we all have this, we are on /co/ after all
